EC30 works to ensure that our products do no harm on nature trails. As required by law, the surfactants in our shampoos, conditioners, and hand/body washes are biodegradable when disposed into wastewater treatment systems, i.e. septic tanks and activated sludge plants. EC30 products will dissolve readily and eventually breakdown in the natural settings with these qualifiers: If you are bathing in a fast-running stream or large eutrophic lake (murky water), there will be lots of water to dilute the ingredients and diverse colonies of microorganisms that could break them down.
